Valiant and Salesforce: The Smarter, Faster Way to Run a Business Loans Marketplace

Valiant has participated in a case study with Salesforce, profiling the ways in which Salesforce Sales Cloud, Heroku and Pardot take the pressure off operations and allow the Valiant team to focus on scaling their business and delivering an outstanding customer experience.

With Heroku in its toolbox from day one, Valiant used the platform to build an online loans marketplace that brings together 100 loan products from over 60 lenders, presented in a beautiful user interface.

“It is pretty amazing to have a dev-ops, systems engineer and analytics engineer in one box. This is what we get with Heroku. Plus, it is a scalable solution that also gives us invaluable reporting and analytics,” said Cofounder & Head of Product, Ritchie Cotton.

With customer service at its core, Valiant’s credit team uses Salesforce to access customer data at a moment’s notice and make accurate recommendations based on their personal preferences.

“We are a hybrid of a traditional finance company and a cloud based technology company – but when it comes to the crunch we are a customer service organisation. Once the algorithm has produced a recommendation for a customer, our Credit Solutions team is ready and waiting to answer any questions and guide them towards a decision,” Cotton said.

Salesforce also helps Valiant make strategic decisions on revenue, team performance, referrer relationships and the reliability of lenders’ criteria.
